Odoração do gás natural determinada pela vazão instantânea em City Gates

Abstract

The injection of odorant in the gas is a process in the distribution of natural gas which aims to the detection of small gas concentrations for most of the population, warning of possible risks of leaks. In the two Compagas’ City Gates, this injection is made proportionally to time. This paper is intended to present the information, tests, analyzes and results to establish the natural gas odorization through the instant flow at City gate in the city of Araucária. The result of this work is a communication system whit an electronic interface between the flow corrector and the odorant injection system controller. This application provided a more stable odorant concentration in the gas positively affecting the quality of the gas.
