Resumen
The growing generation of non-Brazilian waste and its inadequate disposition has caused serious problems without a current scenario. That's a problem with the lack of quality, that's what the problem is. The objective of this work was to identify the influence of the effluent generated by the anaerobic digestion in the production of seedlings of Dry Cress (Lepidium sativum). It was used 8 digesters of unusual concentrations, production by digestion of vegetal residues, being tested in 4 different dilutions, 100%, 50%, 10% and 1%. Analyzes of electrical conductivity, pH, macronutrients, phytotoxicity assay and tray seedlings were performed. The phytotoxicity assay allowed to verify the adequate dilutions for a seedling production stage, in this step as trays remained in the BOD for 3 weeks with a photoperiod of 16 h d-1 at 21 ° C, 5 seedlings of each treatment were selected and made phytometric analyzes to evaluate seedling growth. By analyzing the nutrients present without digestates, it was possible to relate to the growth of the seedlings and to evaluate the organic load better contributed to the development of the seedlings. For the 100% and 50% dilutions the seed germination was not satisfactory, the solutions contained excess of the essential nutrients for seed development and root length and had a negative influence on germination. The values found for phosphorus and potassium were higher than necessary, a factor that indicates a possible negative effect on the development of plants. Regarding nitrogen, the amount found was close to that considered as reference of the need of this nutrient for the plants. Thus, the use of the effluent generated by the anaerobic digestion of plant residues in the production of Dry Watercress (Lepidium sativum) has the potential to be used as a biofertilizer, provided that its characterization is done, mainly in relation to the number of macronutrients.
