Resumen
The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of the narrative genre in student motivation to read and write. This work aims to reflect on the theories of interaction in reading and writing, focusing on writing as work and production conditions in order to verify that this approach encourages these textual skills. Seeking support the principle that students seek that corresponds to their interests, seeks to analyze, observe and understand the song genre, in a social interactionist perspective, covering the production conditions, AT motivates students to read and produce texts . The study asserts that the use of this genre in textual productions can be a starting point, a link motivator for teachers and students. This study is important for you to encourage reading and writing in the classroom, through genres such as narrative, exploring new ways of working with writing, creativity, participation and student interest, favoring its development and critical autonomy.
