Resumen
Water heating is a process that is present in various industries such as in homes, businesses and industries. This item can bring comfort to residential environments or be a necessity with great demand for other sectors. The sources of energy used in this process are usually: the electric, the gas or the solar, with the electric being the most used. The main fact is due to its initial investment cost being low and ease of installation and operation. The present work deals with water heating systems stored in thermal reservoirs known as boilers. The objective of this research is to construct and analyze an induction water heating system with lower energy consumption than resistance heating systems. The proposed research is classified as applied and exploratory, since a water heating system was constructed to serve as an alternative to the resistance heating system. As the study is done in the laboratory, it can also be cataloged as experimental.
