Resumen
As most used structures in the country are composed of reinforced concrete or metal profiles, how ever as metal structures are more common in commercial buildings. In this mode, for the best choice of a project, the comparison in various aspects of these structures is very important. Analyze the advantages and advantages of a structural system optimized for construction, following developments and renovations over the years. Thus, this study studied in a comparative structural and economic analysis of reinforced concrete and steels structure in a project of a commercial building. The main standards for these systems are NBR 6118:2014 and NBR 8800:2008, respectively for reinforced concrete and steel structure. A modeling and structural analysis was made using the Scia software. It was made or pre-dimensioned for the use of geometric dimensions, as well as a check for a metal structure used by the above standard formulas and a check for the reinforced concrete structure using the Scia Engineer software. As beams were budgeted according to the table SINAPI and by commercial analysis in the city of Campo Mourão-PR. As steel beams seemto have an excellent advantage over reinforced concrete without weight and strength, they represent about 10% of the total weigh of reinforced concrete. However, an economy of a steel framed work takes into account several factors compared to a concrete work and therefore there must be further analysis so that there is a better cost benefit in choosing the building system. At the end of the study, it was possible to conclude that a reinforced concrete structure is more economically viable, but with a metal structure as loads transmitted to a foundation are smaller and faster construction occurs.
