Anéis semissimples e representações de grupo

Abstract

The present work aims to present the theory of semisimple rings, group rings and group representations, in order to enable the calculation and to obtain the matrix representations of groups. This study is justified by the lack of detailing on the examples presented in the literature, especially in Portuguese. Thus, a bibliographical research was carried out in works that contemplate this theme and some examples of group representations were developed. It is hoped that this work will contribute to the author’s academic growth and may become a study subsidy for other academics interested in the subject.
