Análise da acessibilidade em edificações públicas: estudo de caso

Abstract

This research aims to examine if the buildings constructed after 2004 are in agreement with NBR 9050. With this objective, being used a literature review on accessibility, taking into account the criteria of ISO 9050: Accessibility to buildings, furniture, equipment and urban spaces (2004). After this, will be presented two case studies in public buildings in Pato Branco, analyzing if their assessing whether the projects of each building are in accordance with NBR 9050/2004 and if there is accessibility in these environments. In floor plans ware verified dimensions of windows, doors, steps, circulation area, toilets and slope of ramps. After analysis of these items a checklist to determine the percentage accessibility of the building as a whole was developed. This way, it can be seen that none of public buildings are in full compliance with NBR 9050/2004.
