Otimização do processo de extrusão de perfis de alumínio através de análise de não conformidades

Abstract

The main focus of this work is to analyze the root causes of occurrence of nonconformities in the extrusion process of aluminum profiles and create procedures for disposal in order to decrease the incidence of defective parts, rework costs and waste of resources. The causes given are stratified into control charts and apply quality techniques to track the behavior of the variables that affect the final product. The quality tools that will be used are, among others, Ishikawa Diagram, PDCA cycle analysis method of failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) and 5W2H. In this perspective, this study aims at optimizing the extrusion process of aluminum profiles for improved productivity, quality and process reliability.
