Resumen
This study aimed to use the Teaching of History and African tales africanbrazilians in educational practice to facilitate the teaching and learning of such content. Through the educational activity of the teacher tried to offer students a search for knowledge and appreciation of the tales with in African cultural heritage passed on by them. The research proposal is to reflect on the knowledge that transmit African tales, their contribution and recognition in the Brazilian context. Aiming to work with students of year 7 A and B - the morning of the State College Santos Dumont E.F.M. Paranacity - PR, diverse educational activities involving the African tales, where they can seek knowledge as traditions, customs and know that are transmitted by them, that thus recognize and respect different cultures that exist in the school context. Note that, currently, there is a resistance prejudiced by the students to accept new cultures or different ways of being and lifestyle of each individual inserted in the school. This, if is necessary to work with oral history, African tales, for what the historical experience of the student is mediated by the society in which it belongs or of other civilizations in order to give meaning to their own existence, with the same conditions of act and interact in education and society in which live.
