Análise experimental da dinâmica de um coxim com óleo e sem óleo

Abstract

Differently from many other components of an automobile vehicle, the engine mount does not have any kind of sensor that tells the driver that for some reason it is not working properly as it should be. Therefore, this study brings experimental data of dynamic behavior of an engine mount putting it under different condition of amplitudes and frequencies. The vibration will be analyzed for two different cases; first we are going to study the engine mount without oil and then obtain experimental data for an engine mount with the ideal quantity of oil. In this study the automobile vehicle component a right-handed engine mount. The obtained results from the tests are in agreement as if expected, showing that there is an increase of vibration and possibly noises, later having to depend on a specialist's look or on driver's sensitivity to identify if the engine mount is working properly.
