Projeto estrutural de uma edificação residencial com estrutura metálica

Abstract

With the purpose of designing a small metal structure, a structural system was designed for a small residential building with metallic structure, evaluating the actions in the structure, selection of the structural elements that make up the structure, structural analysis and Validation of the selected profiles. In order to support the utilization requests and maintain structural integrity, the design followed the requirements of NBR 8.800: 2008 - Design of steel structures and mixed steel and concrete structures of buildings. And, to obtain the wind actions in the structure, it followed the determinations of NBR 6.123: 1988 - forces due to the wind in buildings. VisualVentos software was used to obtain the wind loads and Software RFEM 5.07 for launching and designing the structure.
