Estudo da substituição de areia natural por areia de arenito em concretos de cimento Portland

Abstract

The inputs of Portland cement concrete, in the case of natural aggregates, when the extraction of environmental imbalance and generate degrade nature, this work is a study to verify the replacement of natural fine aggregate, for fine aggregate from sandstone. The aim was to evaluate and compare the influence of substitution on the properties of fresh concrete as the hardened, keeping the factor w/c and adjusting the concrete mix to get a rebate near the reference concrete. The results indicate the the replacement promotes chances in Portland cement concrete in both its fresh and hardened by changing the consumption of cement and mechanical performance.
