Elaboração do plano de gestão ambiental de uma empresa madeireira

Abstract

Currently, there is the necessity of rethink the corporate production processes aiming at suitability for environmental standards and the estabelish a relationship more sustainable with the natural environmental. This necessity appear of the establishment of rules that aim the environmental regulation of the produtions processes combined with the concern about the environmental sustainability of productions processes. In Brazil, the concern about the natural environmental is limited in to comply with environmental laws, however the consumers are looking for “green products”. The productives sectors that presente more interference with the natural environment receive attention about the sustainability, this is the case of timber sector. It is the combination of these factors is the importance of the company has a plan of action focusing on environmental issues. Thus, the development of an environmental management plan for a timber industry aimed at improving production processes with respect to their interference with the environment. For the preparation of the environmental management plan described the production process of the company sorting the waste generated at each stage. After this step has developed operational indicators that provided a clearer opinion of the current situation of the company. With the understanding of all these parameters was developed the regulatory plan using the 5W1H methodology which is a strategic tool for objective quality. The environmental management plan of the company has only one activity to be developed, which is a result of analysis of the information studied.
