Avaliação morfológica do capim-aruana em três sistemas (campo aberto, silvipastoril de canafístula e silvipastoril com louro)

Abstract

The importance of evaluating the morphology of the Aruana grass in different production systems allows the producer to choose a system whose results are better in forage mass production and consequently higher quality, gain per hectare and animal welfare if the system allow. The objective of the work was to determine the development of the Aruana grass in three production systems: open field, Silvipastoril with Cana Fistula and Silvipastoril with Bay, the three systems had aruana grass. The work was conducted in the Sheep sector of the Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná, campus Dois Vizinhos. The factors evaluated in Capim-aruana were cutting height, number of tillers, number of leaves number of expanding leaves, leaf width, and dead leaves. For the analysis of the results were compared by the Tukey test used the procedure R Core Team (2017). No significant results were found for expanded leaves, leaves expansion and dead leaves. However, for cut height, there was a difference in the block variable, for the number of tillers, difference between the evaluated systems and leaf width, presented different results in the variable time. The work was important because it contributed information on the difference in performance of the Aruana grass in different cropping systems.
