Aplicação de metodologia ágil Scrum e indicadores de desempenho para aumento de performance e auxílio em tomadas de decisão estratégica: estudo de caso de uma construtora imobiliária

Abstract

In the contemporary era, in which capitalism and strong competition are present in the markets, some recent phenomena are highlighted, such as globalization, technological evolution, market internationalization and rapid exchange of information. These characteristics boosted the frequency with which changes take place, making it necessary to constantly monitor and update work methodologies. As a result, adaptability has become essential in the management of companies that aim for high performance, as the way of relating to and managing people has undergone social and economic transformations. In the context of functional sales teams of a real estate company, which operates in 9 cities in the state of Paraná, where there are hierarchical relationships, interdependence and several data to analyze. The present work aims to create a more productive methodology and provide inputs for strategic decision making. The research classification is quantitative and qualitative, applied and exploratory nature, with an action research approach, where the data collection technique was that of a participant observer. Through bibliographic research, followed by the application of the contents that involve the study, agile methodologies stand out, specifically the Scrum methodology, together with performance indicators, especially Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Result (OKRs). It was noticed that Scrum contributed significantly to the standardization of processes and compliant data collection, in addition to satisfactorily dealing with the complexity of the business. With the help of tools such as Excel and well established assumptions, the development of KPIs aligned with the company's OKRs significantly improved productivity, facilitated the mapping of existing gaps, in addition to enabling the preparation of follow up reports, which help strategic management in decision making.
