Resumen
The work was carried out to evaluate the nutritive value of pastures of Cynodon in natural or intercropped cultivation with Peanut (Arachis pintoi) in different preservation methods and possible variations from the mass "in natura". This is a factorial (4x4) with three replications, with the first factor methods (hay, silage, haylage and silage mass "in natura"), and the second (Tifton 85, Tifton 85 + perennial peanut, and Coastcross Coastcross +forage peanut). Pastures were cut with a height of approximately 25 cm. Later samples of mass "in natura" and in sequence, of the material was ensiled immediately after cutting, part subjected to drying for three hours and then ensiled and still part was exposed to the sun for two consecutive days were collected up to the point haymaking. The pastures had harvested forage production with high nutritional value, as well as perennial peanut intercropping with increased nutritional value. Among the methods of conservation, haying did not alter the nutritional value on the mass "in natura", presenting itself as the most suitable for the conservation of fodder. The ensiled materials showed high pH values and reduced nutritional value as compared to the mass "in natura".
