Abstract

The objective of this work was to estimate the germination viability of Physalis peruviana and P. pubescens seeds. The experiment was conducted at the UTFPR Seed Technology Laboratory, Campus Pato Branco. The experiment was carried out with 30 seeds per treatment belonging to the batch 2016, testing different temperatures (20 ºC, 25 ºC, 30 ºC and 35 ºC), of the two species, arranged in 16 gerbox boxes from the year 2016. germination, germination speed and index were evaluated. The results were submitted to statistical analysis. Differences in germination were found according to the exposed temperature, where it was found that very high temperature affects germination and lower temperature delays it, but finding that average temperature of the analyzed ones had better performance, also indicating the maintenance of seed viability. and the ideal process temperature, respectively.
