Análise comparativa da qualidade do sistema elétrico predial e de equipamentos eletromédicos em estabelecimentos de saúde de Ponta Grossa - PR

Abstract

Electromedical equipment has been taking more space in health care establishments, being currently components of paramount importance to guarantee the physical integrity of the patients. In hospitals and private clinics, it is sought to maintain their state of preservation, and non-compliance entails not only the destruction of the equipment, but loss of profits. The aim of this research is to provide a comparison between the conservation of the electrical equipment and installation in health institutions in the city of Ponta Grossa, Paraná, with the help of multicriteria analysis methods, providing improvements to be applied. In order to have a basic understanding of the characteristics of those institutions, it is firstly conceptualized Clinical Engineering at a global level, exploring the responsibilities of the profession in relation to the use of electric energy and its utensils, later on it is exposed the common electrical installation system used in hospitals, highlighting the current norms for such spaces. The aim is to understand the causes and consequences of the poor use of electricity in the hospitals, as well as to acquire data related to maintenance in a general way through questionnaires applied in the hospitals of the state of Paraná and to end, the application of the methods DEMATEL-BWM and TOPSIS in order to evaluate such institutions. As a result, it is evident that there are proposed changes and improvements in the face of the imperfections found.
