Resumen
The present work aims to develop the study and the proposal of a clamping device for machining a model part with complex geometry. To achieve this objective, the bibliographic review methodology was used. Thus, the general machining concepts combined with the Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) will be presented. Tools are also used to assist in decision making in conceptual projects. The work also proposes to identify and analyze several elementary practices in machining. And from the knowledge built, point out possible solutions for fixing parts with complex geometry, which has the following qualities: safe, robust, with good precision and easy adjustment in Machining Centers. The bibliographic survey is approached in conjunction with a field study, in which the observatory and interrogative method is used to diversify the options. After presenting the research results, the proposed fixation system was outlined and numerical simulation was performed to verify its practical applicability. It was concluded that the approached solution is suitable for the quick tool change system, allowing for high performance and productivity.
