Resumen
Industry workers use to stand for several hours at a time, often in an unfavorable ergonomic position. This situation can cause pain, injury and in the most serious cases the retirement by disability. To alleviate this situation, based on the study of ergonomics and structural mechanics, a support passive exoskeleton will be developed to support the lower limbs, serving as support for the employee during working hours, also correcting his posture. As it is a recent solution, there are still not many bibliographical references on passive exoskeletons. The project was executed and, through testing with a user, its functionality was detected. Although the objective has been achieved, some mechanical and mainly ergonomic improvements will be necessary in the prototype. The low cost requirement of the equipment has been reached.
