Resumen
This work was carried out at the Paineiras da Ingaí site, located in the city of Sarapuí, in the interior of São Paulo, from September 2015 to August 2016. The objective was to evaluate the milk production of Murrah buffaloes in two lots of Animals in irrigated and non - irrigated Brachiaria pasture systems, with an area of 5 hectares of irrigated pasture and 15.5 hectares for non - irrigated pasture. The milk was collected in a mechanized milking system with two daily milking with calves at the foot, and the milk control for data annotation was performed on average every 15 days. In total the property had 111 matrices, and on average data were collected from 41 animals of the lot in irrigation and on average 45 animals in a plot without irrigation. The collected data were annotated according to the seasons of the year and submitted to analysis of variance, and the data that obtained difference between the treatments were submitted to the Tukey test at 5% by the SAS statistical program. There was interaction effect for treatments in milk production per hectare in each season, where the non-irrigated area produced less, and the season with the lowest production was the summer. There was also for total production per period, where the lot in irrigated area produced more than the lot in non irrigated area. It is concluded that irrigated pasture supported higher animal load, and produced more per area, compared to non irrigated.
