Resumen
Inductors used in low frequency applications have some limitations, such as weight, volume and high cost. Another limitation is the few variety of values available, as well as the non-possibility of varying the value of the component, as in the case of a potentiometer. As a solution there are decades of inductances, which are related to real inductances associated to each other, with the disadvantage of high cost. The proposal of this work would be the project of a decade of inductance built from a circuit emulating the inductor, consisting of resistors, capacitors and operational amplifiers, found in the literature. A large agreement was observed between some simulated results using an ideal operational amplifier and the theoretical analysis. However, from experiments and simulations of real components, it was observed that the implementation of the project is not possible due to non-idealities of the operational amplifier, such as offset voltage and bias current. There are some cases where the simulation with real components presented good agreement with the theory, but when varying the value of the inductance or the input signal, the results were different. Therefore, an inductor can be emulated, but the decade of inductance with synthesized circuits still needs to be better elaborated. Although it does not present the magnetic effect, if it were possible to implement the decade of inductance, it would not present winding resistance, besides being cheaper and versatile.
