Resumen
The present work aims to analyze the impressions and expectations of students in relation to the practice developed in the mandatory supervised curricular internship in the Degree in Letters - Portuguese / English at the Federal Technological University of Paraná Campus Pato Branco. There are different impressions and expectations of students regarding internship practices, as well as several pedagogical concepts that can permeate and influence these impressions and expectations. Thus, in order to understand how these impressions and expectations are created and broken in academic formation, we conducted an exploratory, case study and qualitative approach research. For data collection we used a questionnaire containing five questions related to the impressions and expectations of these students in relation to the supervised internship. In this way, it was possible to analyze the responses of the responding students enrolled in the seventh and eighth period of the aforementioned course, with a comparative study of the responses combined with the theoretical contribution that supports the discussion on supervised internship. As for the results, we can highlight the desire for the internship to happen in extended periods, from the first periods of the course. In addition to the need for pedagogical disciplines that raise the understanding of the relationship between theory and practice.
