Resumen
The proposal to make a work from the book As Fabulosas Fábulas de Iauaretê, written by the indigenous author Kaká Werá Jecupé, aims to highlight the Brazilian indigenous children's and youth literature. And it aimed to bring a survey about the laws and documents that deal with the indigenous education in Brazil and to verify how the teaching about the indigenous culture and literature in the Brazilian schools takes place. After all the initial bibliographic research the work culminates with the presentation of a pedagogical proposal in the classroom for students of the 6th grade of Elementary School from the book The Fabulosas Fábulas de Iauaretê, by the indigenous author Kaká Werá Jecupé, in an attempt to take to the students aspects about the indigenous culture, stimulating curiosity and knowledge and seeking to alleviate the prejudice against the native Brazilian people, emphasizing the importance and relevance of diversity. As methodology were used bibliographical surveys with a vast study on the legislation, with research in the Federal Constitution and in the Law of Guidelines and Bases of the National Education, then it was made the verification of the main names representatives of the Brazilian indigenous literature as Daniel Munduruku and Eliane Potiguara and scholars of Children's Literature, among them Ligia Cademartori and Nelly Novaes Coelho. The work is of great importance, as it analyzes the work of one of the main Brazilian indigenous authors, Kaka Werá Jecupé, showing from his career as an indigenous writer, as well as a brief account of some chapters of the work studied. The research aims to bring the importance of not working on the theme only on Indian day, which makes knowledge scarce in the classroom, and ends up perpetuating the ignorance about the indigenous. Indigenous works can be recognized as important material for working on what is required within school curricula. A Portuguese language teacher working in his discipline the fable textual genre can use the material proposed here, the book As Fabulosas Fábulas de Iauaretê, which is configured in vast material to present indigenous issues. Still, through the work presented here the teacher can bring students, in addition to an interesting way to use the production of texts, cultural knowledge, as well as highlight feelings of indigenous characters brought by the author, among them love, courage, fear and doubts.
