Plano de gestão para reorganização do cemitério municipal de Treze Tílias SC

Abstract

There is a big preoccupation regarding the lack of space for new graves in the Municipal Cemetery of the Treze Tílias, state of Santa Catarina. This assumption has been proven by Taiana Monfroi in her supervised internship report II presented at the University of Western Santa Catarina (UNOESC) Civil Engineering graduation in Joaçaba. After data and calculations obtained, her conclused, was that at the beginning of 2020 the Cemetery will be with its spaces saturated, making it necessary and timely a reorganization of the cemetery to enable its spaces thus increasing its useful life. This issue is, therefore, a public policy that must be immediately resolved. The present paper of Conclusion of Course in Municipal Public Management proposes a management plan aiming at the reorganization of the space with the intention of making possible the spaces of the cemetery, thus avoiding that the public administration needs to acquire a land for a new Cemetery. The present study initially presents data on Treze Tílias’ municipal cemetery as well as the computation of its capacity in view of the population increase of the municipality. The work also exposes what the City Hall is already doing on this subject. Based on this, the key elements needed to draw up an action plan have been identified. A timeline was developed using the Gantt Chart to determine the duration and sequence of deployment of the actions. The actions to be implemented were detailed using the 5W2H method. The results of this work contribute to the city council of the municipality of Treze Tílias can plan, implement and monitor in a more effective way the actions for reorganization of the Cemetery.
