Utilização de aerogerador para suprimento de energia em pequena propriedade rural no estado do Paraná

Abstract

The climatic conditions of Brazil presents potential to use wind energy, occupying the second place in relevance in the country's electrical matrix, being an alternative to the hydroelectric energy. In this sense, this academic work had as general objective to study and verify the conditions for implanting a wind turbine power in a rural property of Paraná, which will be defined accordingly to information of wind potential and economy of the place, in order to determine if it can benefit from this energy potential. As a methodology, field research was carried out in the city of Castro, Paraná State, initially doing a study of the region to select the property to be carried out the research. After selecting the property, a survey of equipment was carried out and load and demand of electric energy study was carried out. There was also an analysis of potential so that it could be based on the energy demand and from this potential to choose the most appropriate wind turbine. With the possibility of choosing between three generators, an economic and financial feasibility analysis was also considered, taking in account the investment value and return time of each wind turbine. The results verified in this study showed that the costs demanded for implantation of a wind turbine in the selected property would bring the cost/benefit relation. In this context, at the end of this study, it was possible to verify the feasibility of using wind energy in a rural dairy farm located in the municipality of Castro, Paraná, highlighting the climatic capacity of the city, as well as the feasibility of investment.
