Abstract

The growing demand for electricity in the Brazilian energy matrix calls a scope broad of the power generation and that promotes innovation in electrical energy generation and usage of micro generation. The power quality stands out as the key point, and frequency variation restriction is the target of this work. UTFPR provides a synchronous generator coupled to 25KVA diesel engine that has been studied in several aspects. Will be discussed hybrid frequency regulation, propose a device that is used to experiment, and extract data of frequency when submitted by load relief or step.
