In order to reduce waste and costs of civil construction and consequently increase productivity and the search for new technologies and improvements in construction sites, new materials have been improved and reused. For the shoring of the beams, wood is usually used, they hamper the construction process and require a lot of labor. They started to be replaced by metal struts, which are easy to assemble, have a high utilization and facilitate the work in all ways. To direct the design with these structures, NBR 15696: 2009 and the Doka shoring manual (2014) are found. However, in Brazil there are still few studies that compare and verify whether these metallic structures meet the requirements pre-established in these guides. The objective of this work is to define the guidelines for the metallic shoring of solid concrete slabs during the construction stage. For this, projects of works of the region of Pato Branco / PR of metallic shoring in solid concrete slabs were analyzed. These projects were compared with the standard NBR 15696: 2009 and with the manual already mentioned, in order to verify if they met all requirements. It was possible to verify on which parameters the metallic shoring projects are elaborated, taking into account the right foot of the slab and its thickness, the support base of the shoring as well as its maximum and minimum distances.
