Inventários de emissões de gases de efeito estufa referentes aos anos de 2019 e 2020 da Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná - Campus Campo Mourão

Abstract

This work aimed to prepare the greenhouse gas inventories for the years 2019 and 2020 for the Campo Mourão Campus of the Federal Technological University of Paraná, using the GHG Protocol tool. As 2020 was an atypical year for the University's activities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the cross-inventory analysis represents an opportunity to analyze the impacts of the pandemic on the campus emissions pattern. Among the sum of scopes 1 and 2, it was identified that for the year 2019 there was the emission of 91,332 tCO2e, while in 2020 the emission was 30.09 tCO2e, representing a reduction of 67% in the number of total emissions in relation to to the previous year. It is necessary to think about mitigation measures for the emissions of greenhouse gases from the Campus, as well as the continuity of ongoing projects such as the solar research station.
