O trauma psicológico como causa de problema de aprendizagem no ensino de língua estrangeira moderna

Abstract

This bibliographical research study has emerged from the need of those who experience some difficulties when learning a second language. It presents neuropsychology concepts and aims to enlighten the learning process as well as the faults that can occur in the individual during this process. It also discusses the conceptual particularities of the terms difficulties, disabilities and deficiencies in the learning process, as well as the negative influence of psychological trauma and the possible consequences on the individual performance during the process of second language aquisition. As a result it presents a range of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder’s effects on learning.
