Abstract

This project explores the interaction between design graphic and design surface design through the printing. Through this interaction the project is developing textile designs of the references to Dada and Surrealism movement. For a methodological issue, the project was separated into two main theoretical and practical. The theory is based on literature reviews concerning the area of surface design, making a relationship between the historical development of printing techniques to methods of construction prints; readings concerning the history of art related to Dada and Surrealism movements addressing the concepts and history artistic movements. In the shaft were discussed practical techniques and construction criteria of the prints, using the concepts of the theoretical axis aiming to develop textile designs suggested by the project.
