Estudo da acessibilidade nos edifícios com atendimento ao público na área central do município de Mamborê – PR

Abstract

The accessibility is a right guaranteed by the Brazilian legislation. So that it can be applied, it´s necessary to comprehend the tasks and situations that tend to concentrate people, aiming, this way, for these places to become, in fact, accessible. The goal of the paper is to accomplish a study of the current condition of building destined to the public in the matter of access of people in wheelchairs and people with visual impairments in the city of Mamborê – PR. For that, were selected two areas the central region, where there is a higher flow of people, then the building of public access were analyzed to check the existence of ramps, signaling of steps and tactile and visual signaling on the ground. Once verified the existence of such structures, their characteristics were compared to the norm ABNT NBR 9050:2015. It was constated that, among the buildings analyzed, only two had conditions of accessibility that were satisfactory. With this conclusion, it is possible to affirm that there is a lack of interest and attention of the public and private sector to promote the free traffic and integration of the people with disabilities into the society.
