Abstract

The routine of domestic working and care of babies and children in Brazilian homes is very common, and often for one minute of inattention, the worst can occur, increasing the statistics of domestic accidents with them. This work presents the importance of monitoring children when parents are not present in the same place of them, making use of electronic devices called baby monitors. The objective is to present a functional prototype of low cost, developed with free tools and open source, and with features and performance like commercial models found in the retail.
