Abstract

Applying the concepts of planning and production control in construction has been linked to increased demand for works ever faster and high quality. With the growth of the real estate industry and credit facilities, the need arises and the search for interior renovation projects, and the increased demand for these projects requires more professional knowledge and application of effective management methodologies to deliver a quality and lower rate of errors and insecurity product. One of the tools used in the Production Planning and Control is the Last Planner System controls the production units and the work flow. The purpose of this study is to validate the application of the weekly schedule Manual proposed by Schneider attached to an agenda template in Excel, creating a new version of this manual, for use in interior renovation work. The study presents three cases of interior renovation work with implementation of the integrated weekly schedule in the short-term planning. The study also generated an adapted version of procedures proposed by Schneider for use in the weekly schedule interior renovation work. This way, it was concluded that is possible to apply the management in small works systems, where demand for services and materials must be answered immediately and the delay deadlines can easily occur, so that the materials generated and supplied, help the responsibility for the execution and the contractor to control the small deviations and delays that arise during the work.
