Resumen
The need to decreasing distances between school science and everyday
student science resulted in finding different ways to resolve this situation. One
of the ways to motivate students and to have a critical education and social
sciences was the contextualization of content. The option of analyzing
textbooks is justified by the fact he was the most widely used teaching resource
in the teaching learning, because the teacher has constituted the most common
method to select prepare and / or develop the content of a course. In this work,
we conducted an analysis of the evolution of the textbooks used in teaching
chemistry for teachers and high school students. This evaluation will be
performed to the theme stoichiometric calculations, considering the great
difficulty of the students in this regard often discussed in scientific papers.
