Análise do indicador sobre o investimento em I&D em relação ao PIB, do Banco Mundial: os casos de Portugal e Brasil

Abstract

Indicators are important tools and sources of information for scientific research. Therefore, this article seeks to analyze the World Bank database, called World Databank, of the World Development Indicators, specifically on the indicator that measures the percentage of investments in research and development (R&D) in relation to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). As a result of the study, the aim is to instigate researchers to reflect on the reliability of the information in the various databases as well as on the importance of this source of knowledge.
