Abstract

This paper deals with the development of a spindle with automatic tool change for milling and homemade CNC routers. The project concept provides raw materials of easy acquisition and reuse of components of other equipment. Initially a literature review for model definition and design parameters was performed. Following was carried out the design, manufacture and integration of electronic and mechanical system. Finally took place parameterization of the control system and run tests in search of possible failures and finding efficiency.
