Resumen
Through bibliographical studies it was possible to demonstrate the importance of attention when working with Mathematical problems. Besides the study on the students‟ difficulty in understanding the problems proposed by the traditional educational teacher, a study was made on the alternative ideal problems, and the use of games and Mathematical Modeling, as a kind of mathematical learning and teaching strategy, illustrating each one of the methods‟ significant points aiming to find a more meaningful and enjoyable learning of Mathematics, so to support this discipline’s learning during the first grades of Elementary School. Some difficulties in nowadays Mathematics teaching were approached and many suggestions were presented to work with the same content in a way students can understand the problems proposed by the teacher for subsequent resolution.
