Therefore, an initial approach is taken on the concept of sustainability, the process of manufacturing the vegetable laminate, its importance and its use in the fashion market. It will present Brazilian fashion designers engaged in the sustainable development of products and expose characteristics of the Neoplasticist movement. Experimental research is then used, since the raw material used in this experiment is innovative in the market and will go through tests with cut-outs, seams and modeling in geometric forms, seeking the best trim and esthetics of the product, thus being able to replace the harmful materials to the environment. It was possible to observe that vegetable laminate is viable for the production of clothes, not just for less impact in the environment, but also for the malleable, resistant and low cost. Applying to the Neoplasticism aspect attributed for a innovator proposal and sophisticated for the sustainable fashion market.
