Sustentabilidade: uma questão de gestão integrada

Abstract

The following paper seeks to show data and present situations related to the advance of residue management programs in our state of Paraná, more specifically in our city of Ponta Grossa. It shows that besides the countless and important advances that we had since RIO-92, we still need to improve significantly so that we can accomplish our goals. This paper also seeks awareness so that the preservation, or the mindful use of the environment, is pursued increasingly with more sustainable attitudes. The present revelations show that some actions are being taken, however, we need an increasing effort by everyone engaged in the process, from public offices to the private sector and the population as a whole.
