Resumen
Comfort is a fundamental need in consumer clothing, with underwear worn daily and always in direct contact with the body, it is necessary to study the comfort characteristics of the textile materials that will be used for its construction . The present work is aimed at the study of the thermophysiological comfort characteristics of cotton fiber and regenerated modal fiber fabrics, which are gaining space in the market because they are biodegradable and present characteristics similar to natural fibers, in which tests such as characterization of each mesh, and determination of vapor permeability, capillarity and multidimensional moisture transfer. It was concluded with the results that modal fiber presents better moisture transfer, even with cotton, resulting in better absorption indexes.
