Resumen
The playfulness used in learning has been studied since ancient Greece. What can be confirmed is that human beings learn in all possible ways, but childhood is where games are essential to improve child cognition. This project aims to understand and playfully apply concepts of mathematics and biology in a card game for children aged 6 to 10 years. A bibliographical research was carried out on playful teaching and the relationship between children and mathematics, on games that involve the theme and their objectives in relation to teaching. For the concepts to be explored in the rules of the game, information was sought in the curricular matrices of Elementary School I in Curitiba regarding mathematics and science with a focus on biology. For the game system, a bibliographical research on the subject was also necessary, where the main criteria to analyze in similar games and adapt in the proposal were established. From then onwards, the rules, dynamics and visual alternatives are structured. Simulations were carried out in design software and online board games, due to the impossibility of testing with the target audience. In the end, the Mirim card game system was developed, which could be a playful alternative to stimulate the learning of concepts of math and biology. We glimpse the possibility of new themes with other disciplines and mathematical equations that involve logic and more complex operations.
