Resumen
One area of great potential with respect to developing new materials is the Chemistry of nanomaterials. Within this large area, an important class that comes with highlight are the metal nanoparticles. This new class has the useful properties have been different from those presented by the material in its full size. The branch of the nanocomposites, as well as metal nanoparticles, is growing because of the wide variety of nanocomposites that can be formed and its many uses. The objective of this work is the production of polymer nanocomposites containing metal nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes wrapped in conductive polymers supported on silica surface for a new route to produce materials with potential in solar cells. The technique that is used is known as one-pot in which the monomer is oxidized at the same time that a metal salt is reduced to its metallic form, it is possible to control the size of the nanoparticles by controlling the concentration of the initial reactants. The metal cation, responsible for the oxidative polymerization, is previously deposited on surface functionalized silica.
