Resumen
This study aims to evaluate a proposal to improve political education that contributes to reducing the learning gaps of students in the 3rd module of technical administration and the 3rd module of accounting, in a state public school located in the interior of the state of São Paulo. The main question that guided the research was to propose the development of an educational product to build political education for students in technical courses, enabling teachers to develop together with the study inherent in the sets of municipal government programs and the daily lives of their academics, whose intention is to provoke, awaken and make students visualize the importance of political discussions in their daily lives. To this end, bibliographical research was carried out on the following topics: public administration, political education and citizen education, in the authors: Alexandre de Moraes, Anderson de Menezes, Beatriz Meneghel Chagas Camargo, Charles-Louis de Secondat Montesquieu, José Afonso da Silva, Luiz Carlos Bresser Pereira, Pedro Lenza, Ricardo Cunha Chimenti, as well as the use of several norms pertaining to the legal ornament on professional education. As a starting point, the present study was structured in 4 (four) chapters, namely: the study and history of the emergence of the professional technical course, at the Brazilian level, until its presence in the city studied, starting with the study of curricular matrices of the courses in the management and business axis under analysis, the analysis of the discussion on Public Administration and its administrative spheres, ending with the examination of the didactic sequence as a teaching and learning strategy. Of the results of the work that can be highlighted are that most of the participating students are not interested in matters related to political study due to lack of time, lack of interest in the subject, not believing in matters related to politics, and, finally, not having technical knowledge to follow the discussions. In this way, it is expected to offer a contribution so that the school and the pedagogical team and teachers revert this situation, through the use of this didactic sequence, called “ETEC in the Chamber: School of political knowledge”, which will help in the transmission of knowledge theoretical and its contextualization with practice, proximity to the powers that make up the state, training of active and participative citizens, as well as more active professionals, in addition to citizens aware of their role in society and future representatives of its population.
