Resumen
The contemporary enterprises are increasingly adhering to new technologies that are able to provide enough tools which support their operational and strategic processes. One of the organizational challenges is finding an application capable of providing integrated information with reliability and quality, giving support while making a decision. With the relevance of the human being to control technology, the present work aims to diagnose the benefits provided in the work process and the difficulties in the use of technology in the activities of accountancy professionals. To reach the proposed goal, the data collected were used from an on-line survey. The questions were answered by users of Kaipora software, obtaining in the end of the search a total of 32 valid questionnaires. The development of the work occurred in two phases, being the first moment the analysis of the process of the individual work through the constructs of productivity, innovation, managerial control and customer satisfaction, based on Antonelli (2011) and Torkzadeh and Doll (1999). The second phase was the application of TAM model- Technology Acceptance Model- through the construct of easiness of use noticed, based on Davis (1986, 1989) and Antonelli (2011). The analysis showed being promising, revealing the Managerial Control and the Productivity as greatest providers of substancial contributions and with smaller index in innovation. However, it did not fulfill the expectations in technology acceptance, with a very low average, which shows that occurs reluctance in adaptation of
application by ‘new’ users and yet, new changes can impair the benefits provided by
the software.
