Abstract

This work addresses a well discussed topic among businesses and their suppliers: the process of quality inspection on receipt of raw material input in the production process. Modern industry needs more and more speed in the development and series production of its products. During the development of a product by a supplier. The supplier should eliminate all possible causes of nonconforming product when it begins production in series, according to technical standards of the company under study. At the stage of receipt of this product by the company, this process must occur in the shortest possible term, and the lowest cost. This work performs an analysis of the potential for improvement in the receipt and inspection of products process and presents a proposal to transform this process in a more efficient quality inspection.
