Avaliação ergonômica na colheita da banana: carregamento e despencamento

Abstract

The current study aims to evaluate ergonomically the work activity of banana farmers, using as case study of a worker performing the tasks of carrying and separating banana bunches. Given the information collected in the field and using the Software Ergolândia 6.0, the OWAS method was applied for the carrying task and the RULA method for the separation of banana bunches, besides the Diagram of Painful Areas as complement to both methods. The bunches carrying activity presented category of action 4, requiring immediate corrections. the task of separating bunches presented score 7 and action level 4, being necessary to apply changes immediately.It is recommended immediate postural changes to perform such tasks in order to obtain minimization of occupational risks and pain decrease, which will result in an increase of the life quality of the worker.
