Abstract

The national clamp used today in machines manufactured by the company UNA Machines has a useful life of 2 million operations. This work has as proposal to indicate changes in the composition, the heat treatment and the tweezers design in order to increase the number of operations supported by the same one. Optical microscopy, hardness with microloads, and chemical analyzes were performed. A change in pinch angles has also been indicated in order to decrease voltage concentrators and increase their service life.
