Sustainability has been common and recurring theme in the business world and in the midst of which the company currently lives. Industries and their behavior towards the environment has been the subject of studies and this requires them greater responsibility that permeates the supply chain downstream, upstream and in the post-consumption. Thus, this research aimed to understand how the Alpha beverage company performs the allocation of solid cardboard residue on your reverse logistics process. And, from the necessary theoretical approaches and understanding of laws, develop a comparative table that showed the congruence and divergence of practices observed in the company, in relation to explicit theories. For this study, a qualitative methodological approach of descriptive performed from a case study of a company that is part of the largest brewing group in the world, located in Ibiporã. Data were collected through semi-structured personal interview and structured observation. Systematic observation was performed within five working days in the company's solid waste treatment sector under study, since the interviews were addressed to all the people who work there, company officials Alpha and the partner company, characterizing a finite population. Data analysis was performed using the content analysis technic with allowed explain clearly the data collected and analyze them. It was concluded that, of the sixteen procedures analyzed, nine of them, the company under study done in accordance with the laws and studied the dictates scholars of reverse logistics and treatment of solid waste. As for the other seven procedures examined, it was found that the company should engage in a new planning, the scope of fit substantially from the guiding laws, for a system to be characterized as reverse logistics, must cover both the planning, as the implementation and control of the entire return flow of products, in our case, the product was cardboard, and, for this, the company must create means for generating source reduction, replacement materials, renovation, repair and remanufacturing.
