Resumen
In this work it was made the coating welding with cored wire (Flux-Cored Arc Welding – FCAW) and current pulsed with the propose to obtain the weld bead geometry features that would be obtained after the welding process. It was also introduced the Taguchi Methodology which is used statistics methods to lower exes with non necessaries works that can cause lost of material and time of service. The welds were performed in 1020 drawn steel. It was produced 4 bodies to be deposited the weld. the currents used were 200A and 220A. After the welding the proof bodies were cut in four parts. There were chosen two samples to be realized the follow measurements: weld bead width, weld reinforcement height, welding penetration height, dilution and wettability angle. In the measurements it was used computer software to have better occurrence. After to obtain these measurements values it was analyzed and set the better parameters: with one of the two currents should be better to use if it be necessary to make a coating welding.
